Freezing mushrooms

Frozen mushrooms can be stored safely throughout the year without losing their nutritional value. It is best to harvest mushroom caps in this way, but it is recommended to remove the legs.

It should be remembered that not all types of mushrooms tolerate freezing equally well. For her, for example, aspen and boletus mushrooms, mushrooms (both fresh and boiled) and boletus are suitable. Other types of mushrooms must be boiled before freezing. Otherwise, they acquire an unpleasant bitter taste.
