Solyanka with mushrooms


Fresh frozen mushrooms (honey mushrooms or porcini are best);

meat with lard, onions, cabbage and potatoes;

tomato paste or ketchup.


Prepared in a saucepan:

Finely chopped bacon is fried, put the chopped meat, 15 minutes

fried, then mushrooms, fry again (everything is done over low heat).

Salt, pepper, bay leaf to taste.

When all this has come to readiness, put chopped cabbage, simmer.

Cabbage is stewed, put finely chopped potatoes.

Put tomato paste only after the potatoes are ready.

The main thing is to stir the hodgepodge regularly.
